I have been an avid animal lover and pet owner my entire life. I have family that owns farmland with cattle. Spending time at the farm got me accustomed to farm animals as well. My dog Sophie split her paw open on a piece of glass. I bandaged it up and took her to the vet for surgery. I knew from that point, this was the field I wanted to work in. My favourite part of my job is taking the best nursing care of animals that come to see us. I love being a part of the team that helps an animal become healthy. The science behind medicine keeps me interested all the time.

My interests outside of work are playing soccer and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I adopted 2 kittens through Centennial named Dio and Sid Vicious. They are both 3 months old. I also have a dog named Sophie who is a mixed breed and currently 5 years old.
